Casa Verde - Zih

Casa Verde is called the "Green House", not because it is green, but because of the green foliage and palms that consume it. It is located on Playa Blanca, just south of the Zihuatanejo airport (ZIH).

Known for it's tranquility, Zihuatanejo was made famous in the Shawshank Redemption. It was also written up in the March 2008 National Geographic as one of the 100 places to see before you die, and descibed as a "mexican gem".

Plenty to do with world class surfing, fishing and golf, as well as world class hammock time.......... Everything is only minutes away. Stroll though the town and visit one of the many excellent restaurants, or local merchants.  Better yet, sit on the beach and eat at a "palapa" - small restaurant on the beach. The food is to die for. Bring only a backpack and a good book.....
